Robert Hutchinson is based in Ireland and is our liaison with Irish falconers and heritage organisations. He runs a successful business consultancy and thus brings valuable boardroom and strategic experience to our committee. In addition to being a practising falconry and hunting enthusiast, he has been, and continues to be, and active campaigner and committee member on a number of field sports and conservation boards. These include Countryside Alliance Ireland, the Irish Masters of Beagles Association, the Hunting Association of Ireland, the Irish Hawking Club, the Golden Eagle Trust and the Irish Bog Preservation Society.
He is a regular contributor to a number of magazines and is committed to securing Britain and Ireland’s falconry heritage for the benefit of future generations. He is currently researching documents relating to the sport in the National Library of Ireland.
